The meeting with the families of missing servicemen of the 20th separate rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held at the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with the participation of the Foundation.
The relatives’ questions were answered by representatives of the Coordination Headquarters, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Police, and the Office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, in particular regarding:
– establishment of effective communication with all specialized services and bodies engaged in or involved in the search for missing servicemen and/or their release from captivity;
– carried out and planned measures to search for missing servicemen, identified problematic issues in this direction and ways to solve them, in particular, how and what relatives can help in the search, and what can even harm them;
– legal issues regarding the protection of the interests of the families of missing servicemen, including their financial support.
